SARASOTA, Fla. (December 14, 2018) – The Commercial Investment Division (CID) of the Realtor® Association of Sarasota and Manatee (RASM) installed the 2019 officers at their Installation and Awards Breakfast on Friday, December 14. During the event, Kristi Hoskinson gave a presentation on business planning and Erick Shumway was recognized as 2019 Commercial Realtor® of the Year.
The Commercial Realtor® of the Year award is presented to a Realtor® member of the Commercial Investment Division who epitomizes the Realtor® image and has a proven track record of dedication to their fellow agents and community.
This year, the award was presented to Erick Shumway of RE/MAX Alliance Group. Shumway is actively involved in CID and a has more than 47 years of real estate experience on Florida’s West Coast. Working in all facets of real estate, he specializes in commercial and investment properties including office, retail, industrial and multi-family.
“I am honored and humbled to accept this award,” said Shumway. “It is a great privilege that I follow so many past recipients whom I have admired since the beginning of my Commercial Real Estate career.”
In addition to presenting Commercial Realtor® of the Year, the Commercial Investment Division installed 2019 President Susan Goldstein, Michael Saunders & Company, and their 2019 Officers & Directors.
“As I take my turn as CID President, my goal is to focus on our mission by promoting professionalism and business development to our members,” said 2019 CID President Susan Goldstein. “I look forward to showing our community that we are the leaders in the Commercial Real Estate arena.”
