SARASOTA, Fla. (August 17, 2017) – The Realtor® Association of Sarasota and Manatee (RASM) is hosting a First Time Home Buyers seminar on August 30, 2017 to educate young professionals with the tools and knowledge they need to confidently purchase their first home.
This event is a collaboration of the Young Professionals Network, affiliated with the Realtor® Association of Sarasota and Manatee, the Sarasota Young Professionals Group of The Greater Sarasota Chamber of Commerce and the Young Leaders Alliance, a group of the Lakewood Ranch Business Alliance.
These groups have recognized a need to educate and inspire local young professionals on the value of homeownership. Featured topics include mortgage pre-approval, using a Realtor®, renting vs owning, current market trends, making an offer and closing.
Chair of the event planning committee, Brian Tresidder of Key Solutions Real Estate, hopes to inspire this generation with pursuing the dream of homeownership.
“We realized that many first time home buyers don’t know the important steps to buying a home,” said Tresidder. “We’re hoping this event will introduce the fundamentals and debunk the common myths among this new generation of home buyers.”
The event features four real estate professionals to present on the home buying process; Dave Swenson (moderator), Better Homes & Gardens Atchley Properties, Gina Montes of Paramount Residential Mortgage Group, Alex Krumm, Re/Max Alliance Group and Lauren P. Kohl, Gibson, Kohl, Wolff & Hric, P.L.
Open to the public, the event will be held at the Realtor® Association of Sarasota and Manatee (2320 Cattlemen Road) from 6:30 – 8 p.m. on Wednesday, August 30.
