The Suncoast Regional Young Professionals Network (YPN) raised $13,406.93 for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Sarasota County at the 2016 Realtor® Bowling Tournament on September 23. The tournament hosted more than 230 bowlers from the Venice Area Board of Realtors® and the Realtor® Association of Sarasota and Manatee. Proceeds from the event will be split and distributed to the Roy McBean and the Robert and Joan Lee Clubs of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Sarasota County.

“I am thrilled to accept this award on behalf of our 5,000 Club members across Sarasota County,” said Michael Doyle, Vice President for Advancement at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Sarasota County. “This generosity from YPN will help us ensure that a great future is within reach for every child we serve.”

Earlier this year, the National Association of REALTORS® announced their partnership with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America. In an effort to impact communities across the country, Realtor® Associations like RASM and VABR are philanthropically and actively serving their local Clubs.

“YPN is proud to support the Boys & Girls Clubs this year,” said YPN Chair Brenton Cloud of Cloud Termite Pest Control. “And after seeing the support from our members in making this event such a great success, we hope to continue this partnership for years to come.”

The Suncoast Regional YPN was formed in 2014 and is comprised of members from the Realtor® Association of Sarasota and Manatee and the Venice Area Board of Realtors®. The organization helps young estate professionals excel in their careers by giving them the tools and encouragement to become involved in their industry, Association and community. This is the second year the organization has hosted the Realtor® Bowling Tournament. The 2016 Bowling Tournament was sponsored by SWF Home Inspections.
