RASM’s Community Outreach Committee Launches February Diaper Drive to Support Local Families

The REALTOR® Association of Sarasota and Manatee (RASM) Community Outreach Committee is kicking off a Diaper Drive throughout February to support families in need. Donations will directly benefit Care Net, a local organization dedicated to assisting families facing crisis pregnancies and providing valuable parenting resources.

Helping Families in Need
Many families struggle to afford basic baby necessities, and diapers, pull-ups, and wipes can quickly become a financial burden. The goal of this drive is simple: collect essential baby items to help ease that burden and provide comfort and care to local families.

How to Donate
RASM members and the community can participate by dropping off diapers, pull-ups, and wipes at either of RASM’s office locations:

Every contribution makes a difference, ensuring that families in crisis don’t have to choose between essentials like food and hygiene products for their babies.

Why CareNet?
RASM partnered with Care Net in 2021 as an approved charitable partner. Care Net provides much more than crisis pregnancy support—they offer parenting classes, fatherhood resources, and an innovative "Earn While You Learn" program, allowing parents to earn points for attending educational sessions, which they can use to "shop" for baby essentials. Any excess donations from the diaper drive will be distributed to other local nonprofits, ensuring that every contribution goes to a family in need.

This year’s drive is led by Community Outreach Chair Christy Walters, who is committed to making a meaningful impact on the community through RASM’s outreach efforts.
