RASM Celebrates New Leadership at Winter Celebration

2026 President, David Crawford at the microphone at Winter Celebration

The REALTOR® Association of Sarasota and Manatee recently gathered for its annual Winter Celebration, a signature event that brings members together to reflect on the year behind us and look ahead to what is next. One of the evening’s most meaningful moments was the installation of RASM’s new Officers and Directors, officially welcoming the leadership team that will help guide the Association forward.

Held at the brand new MOTE Science Education Aquarium, the Winter Celebration served as both a milestone and a moment of transition. RASM members, volunteer leaders, and staff came together to recognize the dedication it takes to serve at the leadership level and to thank those who continue to step up on behalf of the REALTOR® community across Sarasota and Manatee counties.

During the Installation ceremony, incoming 2026 President David Crawford addressed the audience and shared his vision for the year ahead. In his remarks, David reflected on the theme of 2025 President Debi Reynolds, “Building Bridges,” acknowledging the importance of connection, collaboration, and mutual respect that defined her year of leadership. He reminded members that “all ships rise with a rising tide,” emphasizing that when REALTORS® support one another and work together, the entire profession is strengthened.

Building on that foundation, David introduced his theme for the coming year, “Building YOUR Community.” He encouraged members to see involvement not as a one-size-fits-all path, but as a personal journey. Whether through committee service, advocacy, education, or community outreach, David emphasized the importance of getting involved in causes and efforts that truly matter to each individual REALTOR®. He challenged members to do it your way, follow what inspires you, and create a path of involvement that feels authentic and meaningful.
