The RASM REALTORS® Charitable Foundation (RRCF) has been awarded a $300,000 grant from the National Association of REALTORS®' (NAR) REALTORS® Relief Foundation (RRF) to support victims of Hurricane Debby. The grant is available to help individuals with housing assistance, offering a maximum of $2,000 per applicant to alleviate housing hardship.

RASM volunteers are joining forces with RMHCTB to positively impact families by helping pack and distribute Meals on the Go (MOTG) – a vital program supporting families with children undergoing medical treatment.

Both counties saw a noticeable slowdown in the housing market, with single-family homes and condos experiencing declines in sales. Median sale prices decreased across various property types, and properties remained on the market longer before going under contract. The slowdown may be partly attributed to the impact of Hurricane Debby’s flooding, which likely disrupted buyer activity and contributed to uncertainty in the market.

Chief Financial Officer (CFO) & State Fire Marshal Jimmy Patronis issued an Emergency Rule to enhance transparency in the claims adjusting process for insurance consumers by requiring adjusters to identify and provide detailed explanations for any changes made to damage estimates.
