GRI Module 301 - It's More Than Just Sales
While the homeownership rate in the United States is the highest in its history, there are still millions of residential tenants residing in property owned and managed by others. In GRI 301, Property Management and Common Ownership is an introduction to property management and the forms of common ownership. Appraising will introduce the function of the appraisal, the steps in the appraisal process, and appraisal principles. Although 1031 Exchanges are available for other investments, Exchanging focuses on real estate exchanges, providing the terminology and principles of exchanging.
The day before class, if you did not purchase the textbook you will receive a digital copy of the course manual to print or download onto your electronic devices to view during class. Should you require a printed copy of the manual, the association can provide one for a $20 printing fee.
Beginning in 2026, all GRI students are required to bring a laptop or tablet with internet access for testing.

15 Hours of Broker Post Licensing(PL) credit for broker licensees in their first license cycle, or 8 hours of Continuing Education(CE) Specialty credit.
*A passing grade of 75% or higher is required on the final exam. To obtain a GRI designation, all seven modules need to be successfully completed within a five-year period.
