The REALTOR® Association of Sarasota and Manatee advocates for policies that protect private property rights and support a strong real estate industry. Through our Government Affairs efforts, RASM helps members stay informed about elections and the candidates shaping our local communities.

 

2026 REALTOR® Endorsed Candidates

The RASM Public Policy Committee, made up of REALTORS® from Manatee and Sarasota Counties, interview candidates running for local office every election cycle. During these interviews, the Committee vet candidates on their positions concerning issues important to our industry and community, including affordable housing, private property rights, water quality, and more.

Based on these conversations, the panel recommends candidates who demonstrate strong support for these priorities. Those endorsed candidates are listed below.
