ABR: Accredited Buyer Representative
The Accredited Buyer's Representative (ABR®) designation establishes a foundation of training, skills, and resources to help real estate professionals succeed as a buyer's representative.
This course is specifically designed to help Realtors to conduct a buyer counseling session, sign buyer clients to a written buyer representation agreement, negotiate buyer clients' offers, and bring the transaction to a successful close.
Elevate your skills and knowledge in the eyes of homebuyers and gain a competitive edge to build your buyer representative business with the Accredited Buyer's Representative designation.
To Earn this designation you must
1. Complete this 2 day course
2. Complete one qualifying elective course
3. Finalize 5 Buyer Representative Transactions
4. Maintain an active member of good standing in NAR
A $110 Designation Fee is due every year to maintain designation - 1st year is FREE.
Important Note: All requirements must be completed within three years of passing the Accredited Buyer's Representative (ABR ) Designation Course.
Should you require a printed copy of the manual, the association can provide one for a $20 printing fee.
