Your Voice in Action

Invest in the REALTOR® Party

Florida REALTORS® PAC (RPAC) is an investment in your business—and your best defense against poorly designed real estate legislation. Your support strengthens REALTOR® influence in Washington, Tallahassee, and right here in Sarasota and Manatee.

Help us continue building on past advocacy successes by keeping the RPAC box checked when you pay. The minimum investment to become an RPAC investor is $20.

Your Impact at Home

Support the RASM REALTORS® Charitable Foundation

The RASM REALTORS® Charitable Foundation (RRCF) gives back to the community through housing-related grants, scholarships, and member assistance. Every contribution helps fund local nonprofits, empower students, and support members in times of need.

Your generosity directly strengthens the communities where we live and work. Help us continue impacting our local community by keeping the RRCF box checked when you pay.

Frequently Asked Questions

When are dues billed, how do I pay them, and what is the due date for payment?

Annual dues invoices are posted to members’ accounts in November and are due by 5 p.m. on December 15. Members are notified by email that invoices are available to view, print, and pay. To pay your dues, log in to your My RASM Portal at myrasm.com. This video provides an overview of how to locate your invoice and complete your payment. RASM only accepts online credit card payments—checks and cash will not be accepted.

Payment is due on December 15, 2025, and after 5 p.m. on January 15, 2026, a $50 late fee will be added to your invoice and member services will be temporarily suspended.

What happens if I don't pay by December 15?

After December 15, a 30-day grace period begins. You have until January 16 at 5 p.m. to complete your payment before a $50 late fee is added.
If your 2026 Annual Dues are not paid by 5 p.m. on February 16, 2025, your REALTOR® membership will be terminated and you must reapply as a new member, pay the $75 reinstatement fee, a $30 processing fee to Florida REALTORS®, and all amounts due at the date of termination.
If membership services are interrupted (such as MLS access) for non-payment, it may take up to 72 business hours for service to be restored.

Does my membership renewal include my Global or Commercial dues?

If you are a member of the Global Business Council ($25) and/or the Commercial Real Estate Alliance ($75), you will also see those dues listed. You must pay these separately to renew your membership in those groups. If you do not wish to renew your group membership, your invoice will be removed once dues billing has concluded.

Is the renewal process the same for Business Partners?

Business Partners will also pay their dues in the My RASM Portal and must renew before 5 p.m. on January 15, 2026, to be included in the newest edition of the Business Partner Directory.

As a broker, what are the consequences with agents who don't renew or are no longer with the company?

What do I do if an agent is no longer with our brokerage?
Brokers must remove the agent’s license from their firm in their DBPR account and then notify RASM that the agent is no longer with the firm.

What happens if agents fail to pay on time?
If an agent does not pay by 5 p.m. on February 16, their invoice will transfer to the broker’s account, and the agent will become a non-member salesperson. If a broker still has open invoices after March 16, their office risks losing member services.

As an Emeritus member, do I still need to pay my dues?

Emeritus members are no longer invoiced for Local, State, National, or MLS dues. However, they may still contribute voluntarily to RPAC and RASM’s REALTORS® Charitable Foundation. If you choose not to contribute, your invoice will be removed in February.

What fees are included in each dues billing?

The annual billing includes local, state, and national dues, plus a voluntary RPAC and RRCF contribution. You can view the billing disclosures here.

I thought I paid my dues in May?

Your Stellar MLS dues, due by May 21, 2025, are separate from RASM dues. RASM’s annual billing does not include MLS fees (billed by Stellar MLS) or Supra ActiveKeys, which are billed by UTC Fire & Security each summer.

Why must I pay my dues online?

RASM uses an electronic payment system for efficiency and security. Payments must be submitted in the My RASM Portal by credit or debit card. Payments are processed through NAR’s secure e-commerce network, which meets or exceeds all safety and security standards.

Is it possible to only pay local and state dues and not NAR dues?

No. REALTOR® membership includes the National Association of REALTORS®, the Florida REALTORS®, and the local association. All three levels of dues must be paid to maintain REALTOR® membership.

I see that other brokerages are no longer requiring their agents to be members of NAR. How do I implement this change at my brokerage?

The decision to require agents to be members of NAR is entirely up to each broker. NAR cannot and does not require brokers to mandate membership in the REALTOR® organization.

Are there any REALTOR® associations that don’t require NAR membership?

No. The term REALTOR® is a registered trademark of NAR, and only associations that enforce NAR’s standards and Code of Ethics are REALTOR® associations.

I’ve heard that certain brokerages like RE/MAX and Anywhere Real Estate Inc. are severing ties with NAR. What does that mean?

These brokerages have not severed ties with NAR. Their settlement agreements in the Burnett v. NAR lawsuit removed the membership requirement from franchisor agreements, allowing individual franchisees to decide whether to maintain NAR membership.

What value does NAR membership provide?

NAR is the unrivaled advocate and resource for real estate professionals and their clients — and only NAR members can call themselves REALTORS®. Membership provides powerful benefits including advocacy at all levels of government, a strong Code of Ethics and professionalism standards, access to premier education and learning resources, consumer trust in the REALTOR® brand, valuable networking and community outreach opportunities, innovative technology tools, leading economic and property data, and expert legal and risk management support.
