According to data from Florida REALTORS®, the housing market in Sarasota and Manatee counties may be showing early signs of leveling off, particularly as the rapid pace of inventory growth begins to slow. While inventory levels remain elevated compared to last year, the month-over month increases have started to moderate, hinting at a potential stabilization. This shift could signal a more balanced environment ahead, where buyer demand and available supply begin to align more closely.
The REALTOR® Association of Sarasota and Manatee (RASM) proudly participated in five impactful volunteer events during NAR’s REALTOR® Volunteer Days, held May 10–18. Organized by the RASM Community Outreach Committee, the weeklong initiative brought over 40 RASM members together to support local nonprofits and give back to the communities they serve.
Earlier this year, Manatee County introduced proposed regulations targeting short-term vacation rentals. At the Tuesday, May 6th Commission meeting, the Manatee County Commission chose not to move forward with the proposed regulations — a significant win for private property rights and responsible rental operators.

The Commercial Real Estate Alliance (CREA) of the REALTOR® Association of Sarasota and Manatee (RASM) recently hosted its highly anticipated annual Sporting Clays Tournament in March, raising an impressive $11,569.29 for two deserving local charities. The RASM REALTORS® Charitable Foundation (RRCF) has been awarded a $300,000 grant from the National Association of REALTORS®' (NAR) REALTORS® Relief Foundation (RRF) to support victims of Hurricane Debby. The grant is available to help individuals with housing assistance, offering a maximum of $2,000 per applicant to alleviate housing hardship.
RASM volunteers are joining forces with RMHCTB to positively impact families by helping pack and distribute Meals on the Go (MOTG) – a vital program supporting families with children undergoing medical treatment.
