(December 20, 2022) – The Commercial Real Estate Alliance (CREA) of the REALTOR® Association of Sarasota and Manatee (RASM) installed the 2023 officers and directors at their Installation Breakfast on Tuesday, December 20. William Wilson, CCIM, with Florida First Capital Finance, was installed as the 2023 President of the CREA. 2022 CREA President Ben Bakker, with NDC Commercial Real Estate, presented this year’s President’s Award to William Wilson. “As we wrap up this year and look to all that awaits in 2023, one thing is clear. We will be in good hands with William Wilson as your 2023 CREA President,” said Bakker. “He will put everything he has into this role and deliver the best version that CREA can be, and I am excited to watch you work.” Under William Wilson’s leadership as President of CREA, the 2023 Officers and Directors will serve the Alliance by working to improve the knowledge and professionalism of members to build a better commercial property marketplace in the two-county area. “Within 5 years of moving to Florida, being here as your 2023 CREA President is a testament towards RASM and how wonderful the community of Sarasota and Manatee is, opening doors to people from everywhere,” said Wilson. “From the upcoming fundraising events and educational programs, to our incoming Board of Directors, I am excited for the great year we have planned ahead to better serve our community of commercial real estate professionals.” The newly installed officers are President William Wilson, Florida First Capital Finance; President-Elect Tom Johnson, Lakewood Ranch Commercial; Vice President Matt Fenske, SVN Commercial Advisory Group; Treasurer Neil McCurry, Seacoast Bank; and Past President Ben Bakker, NDC Commercial Real Estate.
