REALTOR® Association Supports Habitat for Humanity Sarasota with a $10,000 Donation

SARASOTA, Fla. (March 1, 2023) - The Commercial Real Estate Alliance (CREA) of the REALTOR® Association of Sarasota and Manatee (RASM) raised more than $10,000 for Habitat for Humanity Sarasota at their annual golf tournament last October. Presented at a recent CREA membership meeting, the $10,036 donation will go toward Habitat Sarasota’s mission to provide decent and affordable housing for people in the community.

“The REALTOR® Association has supported Habitat for Humanity Sarasota for many years, and we are grateful for their enthusiasm for our mission,” said Susie Ellis, Resource Development Coordinator at Habitat for Humanity Sarasota, Inc.

Both REALTORS® and Habitat for Humanity Sarasota share the vision that everyone deserves a decent place to live. Since 1985, Habitat Sarasota has addressed the need for affordable homeownership in our community. The REALTOR® Association truly understands how difficult it is for families to afford the price of a home in Sarasota. We are delighted to be able to support Habitat Sarasota. The donation was raised by CREA at their annual charity golf tournament and contributed through the RASM REALTORS® Charitable Foundation, whose mission is to provide funding to local housing-related charitable organizations tackling affordable housing, fighting homelessness, or providing shelter. In addition to the monetary contribution, the REALTOR® Association of Sarasota and Manatee will also provide member volunteers to Habitat Sarasota.
