
SARASOTA, Fla. (September 27, 2024) – The RASM REALTORS® Charitable Foundation (RRCF) has been awarded a $300,000 grant from the National Association of REALTORS®' (NAR) REALTORS® Relief Foundation (RRF) to support victims of Hurricane Debby. The grant is available to help individuals with housing assistance, offering a maximum of $2,000 per applicant to alleviate housing hardship.
The funds are designed to provide relief for affected residents, covering mortgage or rent expense. Both REALTORS® and members of the public who have been displaced or whose home incurred damage to their primary residence due to Hurricane Debby are encouraged to apply.
“Thanks to this generous grant from the REALTORS® Relief Foundation, we can provide critical support to those in need of housing assistance after Hurricane Debby,” said Brian Tresidder, 2024 President of RASM REALTORS® Charitable Foundation. “Our community has been hit hard, and we are committed to helping residents get back on their feet.”
Eligibility and Application Process
To qualify for relief, applicants must demonstrate that their primary residence was impacted by the hurricane and provide supporting documentation, such as mortgage statements or rental agreements. Grants will be issued on a first-come, first-served basis, with a maximum of $2,000 per household.
Applications for relief are now being accepted through the RASM REALTORS® Charitable Foundation (RRCF). Eligible individuals can apply directly at www.MyRASM.com/disasterrelief.
The grant will help cover rent or mortgage payments and temporary housing costs.
