REALTOR® Association Global Business Council Recognized with Platinum Award

The Global Business Council (GBC), a membership subgroup within the REALTOR® Association of Sarasota and Manatee (RASM), was recently honored with a Platinum Global Achievement Award from the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR). This prestigious award is a testament to GBC’s dedication to enhancing global real estate opportunities for their members and fostering international connections.

“Sarasota & Manatee Counties are an absolute hotbed of international residents/visitors with so many countries and cultures represented here that we want to provide our members with the knowledge of how to best understand and serve them,” said Lori Cashi-Haught, 2024 Vice-Chair of the Global Business Council Committee.

NAR’s Global Achievement Program recognizes the most active associations in global business and celebrates the efforts in developing global programs and facilitating connections worldwide. This award places RASM in the top 10% of Global Councils nationwide.

This accomplishment is a true testament to the dedication and teamwork of our remarkable committee members. Together, we’ve fostered innovation, supported each other, and created programs that enhance our local and global business connections,” said Dave Swenson, 2024 Chair of the RASM Global Business Council.

RASM’s GBC offers educational opportunities throughout the year, participates in multiple trade missions, and ensures members are informed about the latest global real estate trends and practices. “Our GBC has really outdone ourselves this year and we are beyond grateful to have been awarded the Platinum award for a second year in a row,” added Cashi-Haught. “We have strived to increase our participation and orchestration of new and exciting global projects this year and into 2025!”
