Maintaining Your License and Membership

What sets apart a REALTOR® from someone who is solely licensed by the state to sell real estate is their adherence to the REALTOR® Code of Ethics. As a member of the REALTOR® Association of Sarasota and Manatee, you demonstrate your dedication to ongoing education, professionalism, and unwavering integrity.

Not sure what’s required to maintain your license? Looking for the next Code of Ethics deadline?

Need to Check Your CE?

Please note that while RASM provides plenty of Continuing Education classes and courses throughout the year to help you earn CE credits, the Association does not record and maintain data regarding your current CE credits. This is done through the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR).

How to Check Your CE

  1. Go to https://www.myfloridalicense.com
  2. Click on My Account in the top right corner
  3. Login with your email and password
  4. Click on your license number
  5. Click on view continuing education
  6. You will see a chart that shows your license period, CE requirements, what CE credits you have completed and what CE credits you still need.
  7. Anything listed in the shortfall column are CE credits that you need before your license renewal.
  8. If you notice a discrepancy in the continuing education credit hours posted to your account, please contact your continuing education provider.
