How to Become a Secondary Member

  1. Take a pre-licensing course, pass the real estate exam, and then apply for a Florida Real Estate License with the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation.
  2. Complete the membership application below.
  3. Pay your dues.
  4. Get a Supra eKey (lockbox).
  5. Attend the RASM New Member Orientation (in-person). 
  6. Complete the two mandatory Stellar MLS classes (MLS Basic and MLS Compliance 101).

Secondary Designated REALTOR®

This application is for members of another Association of REALTORS® who wish to have access to RASM’s great benefits or have agents join your brokerage and have a membership with RASM.

Instructions for Submission

  1. Submit your completed and signed application via:
    • Email membership@MyRASM.com 
    • Fax (941) 952-3401
    • Bring your completed application to one of our two locations. 
  2. If you are a transfer from another Association or have been active within the last year, a Letter of Good Standing from your current or previous Association is required.
  3. PDF Applications must be submitted with payment information (see the chart of fees below). 

Your application will be processed within 72 hours of receiving all of the required application materials. MLS Access is usually activated within 72 hours from the date your application is officially processed by our Member Services staff.

Membership Requirements & Next Steps

Once your application and payment are processed, you officially become a New Member!

New Member Requirements:

  1. Complete the RASM New Member Orientation program within three months of submitting your application. Find an upcoming Orientation here
  2. Brand-new licensees must complete the NAR Code of Ethics.
  3. Brand-new licensees will need to complete Stellar MLS compliance courses.

  3. Prepare to pay your annual membership dues according to the following schedule:
    • Association Fees (local, state, and national): Due by 5 p.m. on December 15. Invoices are available in November of each year in your MY RASM PORTAL.
    • Stellar MLS Subscription Fees: Due by 5 p.m. on May 15. Invoices are created in April of each year. Pay in your Stellar MLS account.
