This Giving Tuesday, we aim to highlight the incredible ways our Foundation has touched lives beyond the realms of college scholarships and housing-related non-profits. It's a reminder that our community stands united, not only in the pursuit of professional success but also in times of personal hardship.

The Impact Story

One such touching story of the RRCF’s impact on our membership involves a member who, faced with the tragedy of a severe accident that left him quadraplegic, found solace and support through the Foundation.

Brian Dumas was working out at the gym, as he did several mornings a week, when he passed out and fell face-first, leaving him diagnosed with incomplete quadriplegia. Brian, who was a full-time broker for Keller Williams Lakewood Ranch before his accident, was talking with a fellow RASM member when he learned of the RRCF and our mission to support members in times of need.

Through a generous donation from the RRCF, Brian received a groundbreaking activity-based therapy machine called the Quadriciser. With the help of the Quadriciser, Brian will be able to learn to walk again.

“I wanted to express my heartfelt gratitude for the generous donation made by the RASM REALTORS® Charitable Foundation, the proceeds of which were used to purchase much-needed rehab equipment to aid in the recovery after my recent accident. The equipment acquired with your donation has played a crucial role in my recovery journey to date, and it continues to make a substantial difference in my daily life.

Your generosity has not only alleviated the financial burden associated with obtaining the necessary equipment but has also provided me with the tools to regain my strength, mobility, and independence.
